May be I have just missed this before, but have you seen one with a handle that turns to apply the parking brake? Notice the handle in the bottom right corner.

One I will be bringing back looked to have good labels on it...and it has the brake label.......

I looked in the manuals, the early series D4-10 had this style of parking brake. I am guessing at this point from 8000 to 8900 or so.......my 9000 numbered and up tractors do not have this style.....so they made a change at some point.

My D4-12 doesn't have that. It does have a second HI/LOW handle under the seat on the right side.

Scott here are some differences in my 2 D4-10's that I just got home a couple weeks ago.

First is the Parking Brake handle,

  Serial # 8495      Serial # 9397

Brake and clutch pedals

  Serial # 8495      Serial # 9397

Center hood trim piece,

Check out how wide the trim is on later one. I believe this is someone's home made trim, looks factory..

Thanks for the pictures Brian, I am never surprised what we are finding around each corner.

The earlier models (8000's) had the straight shift as well....note the shifter pattern is straight up and down, the later models had the H pattern.

Also I think you will see on the earlier models the floorboards had the black sand paper like stuff on it. (again like the 8000 serial number GT like you have above)

I just did not noticed the brake handle since all my previous D4-10's had the other set up.

I have all types of moldings on these tractors, I really believe it was what they had available at the time the tractor was made. Most have the wide trim on the top and skinnier ones on the bottom......one T-63 had a well defined almost angle shaped side moulding......kinda like a 1/4 moon shape.
