Hi,

fwiw, I have just sold a 444 to a tractor jockey that inculded a front plow(has the spring loaded pin mounting) and it is destined for being parted out at Joes.

Good luck in your search.

Chuck

Titus, take a look following this link. Not sure it's what you're looking for but it looks to be a decent price and in good shape.

That looks good, I wonder what size it is though. I also need to find out if I have hydraulics to lift the plow up or not. How close to that are you?

The guy lives in Franklin, ME (just outside of Ellsworth). That's about 2 years away from me. I just spoke with the seller (Matt) and he indicated it came off of a Case 446 so it should work on your 444. It's a 44" blade and it works off a similar lift mechanism  as is used on the snow caster snow blowers. He has a guy interested in the entire setup (tractor included) but if that falls through he'll give me a call. Let me know if you're still interested and I'll pursue it a bit further. I'll PM you my number if you have questions. He thinks it might be model H-50 (older) or J-50 (newer).

Here's another source of info regarding attachment fit for your 444:

Case Attachment Guide.jpg

I did some searching and here's one recommendation that I thought I'd pass along:

"A 54inch blade is ideal for any 200/400 series Case. It gives you the ability to yaw the blade to one side and still manage snow/soil equal to the track of the wheels."

and

"The 54" blade is standard for the 444, 446 and 448 tractors."

44 is smaller, wouldn't that be smaller than the wheel base of the front tires?

If it falls though, I am interested, I'd be interested in seeing the GT as well. 4 hour drive for me.

Thank you very much, just let me know

If you could please. Thank you!

I had someone locally contact me, wants $75 for his, but it doesn't have the bracket to mount it, it's just the plow.

I spoke with the seller this morning and he still has the plow. He is waiting on another guy who apparently has offered a tiller in trade for the plow. The seller is holding out in hopes of getting the tiller. If the deal falls through the seller will give me a call.
