Pretty cool.

This mower has been in storage since 1966. It is the Wheel Horse REO Model +RR46. The mower has the tiller type steering.(not steering wheel)The crate has never been opened. It is stained and has a couple holes in the cardboard.Still, nice pics and lettering on box. It is dirty as shown in pics. I did not try to clean it up. Excellent item for your finished off garage or man cave.Keep in mind it is not repainted,refurbished,rebuilt-it is NEW. It comes with the owners manual, wty card etc.I took one pic that you can see the mower inside the box.I will not ship, but we do travel to Indiana occasionally and might (for a small fee)help if close to route. Thanks for looking.

I'm confused....I know there is a hole in the box, but how do you get pictures of it if it's never been opened?

....and even with a small hole, how in the word does an un-opened box have a tractor covered with a thick heavy layer of dust?

NOS, maybe, but I call BS on never been opened.

Looks like there are some tears in the side of the box. I am sure he stuck the camera in there and snapped a pic. As for the dust the box is not hermetically sealed.

VERY COOL!  Having worked at two different places in the past that sold mowers and knowing how they are put in the crate from the factory, there is no way that thing has ever been opened in my opinion.  You have to practically destroy shipping crates that mowers are in to get them out.  I used to just take a chain saw and very carefully cut the crate at the bottom on the sides and lift the four sides and top off as a single piece.

I know of an IH number 95 electric R.E.R. that is still strapped to its shipping pallet with the factory banding.  It is not in a box like this but still very cool.
