I traded my Jake 1450 to my friend Tal (the guy I visit in ME), who made this sleeve hitch for his tractor. we used pics from other homemade ones we've seen on here, as well as the dimensions and pics Kenny posted of the factory unit. The following is a small amount of pics he has sent me on this. When he finishes painting, I will include those pics as well as the video of us testing it out with a york rake adapted to the sleeve hitch.

I used my newly acquired program for the editing " Skitch "

Thanks Tom

Nice looking hitch. Should last the rest of the life of the tractor.

Looks plenty strong. Do you have a pic of the finished hitch?

Looks fantastic. I'm shopping welders at the moment so I can make one for my MF10.

How do you intend to finish it? Paint? Powdercoat?

Thanks for the pics and descriptions!

I was up there this past weekend doing the final assembly. It is strong enough for Tal to jump on the york rake for weight. it held very nice. The tractor had no problem going up and down with him on it. He is painting (rustoleum or por 15, I'll check) it as I type, should have pics of final paint by end of week I hope. We also made a video of it in action, which I will post asap. he also made an extension handle for the lever , as when your looking behind it was a little short. Keep checking in as I post when he sends me info.

Thanks Tom

So I finally got the video of the final product and here it is -

The handsome gentleman driving the tractor is me.( on my iPad so no access to emoji's for guy rolling and laughing here!) just to let you guys know what I look like.
I am also including this video clip he sent of the modified oil tank trailer project. Tires and hubs donated from a GT.

Hope you enjoy them , and thanks for watching Tom

All video editing done by my friend Talbott ( nice job!)
