I was browsing random Facebook pages and can't across a guy parting out a 10hp. No pictures no nothing I bought some stuff sight unseen. 65$ got me the carb, starter, regulator, and air cleaner shipped to my door.

The regulator is way smaller than the ones I have and the pins are oriented different. It will still work with my stators correct?

Will this air cleaner fit all kohler carbs?

Looks like the standard size regulator that is on the K321 and KT17 that I have in JD tractors. Have a look in the Kohler engine manual to verify the wiring before you connect it. That looks like the standard oblong Kohler air cleaner canister and should fit the 12-16hp motors for sure. I'm not sure about the smaller ones.

Those are K series parts off of a 200 or 300Kohler JD model. Most all the Regulators do the same job.

I noticed it will fit the engine I'm putting in my cub. I'm excited knowing it was ment to be.

I've come to learn just about any of the later style regulators, like you pictured, will work with any system using the AC/B+/AC system. Since getting my sears, I have ran three different Sears types, a kohler, and I am now running one from an Onan. I finally broke down and bought a brand new one ( onan) as I was just using old used ones I had lying around. As long as the regulator matches your charging output and you get wiring correct, they will work. I burnt up the Kohler one as it was only rated at 15 amps, my system is a 20 amp plus I was using winch, it didn't last too long. I now have my 20amp Tecumseh feeding through a 20 amp Onan regulator, hopefully this new one will finally hold up.

10 Hp kohler carb...I want!!!! :smilewink:
