Sorry about the long delay... I forgot all about taking pics until today. It was pretty difficult to find an angle where there was no glare.
Here are the pics of my self winding Bulova:

I always set the date then when the battery dies, it gets all messed up :wallbanging:

OK after some research and brain picking I narrowed the year down but not the movement model.

L1 = 1951 model year and I think (and this is just a guess) the style is The Grant, but the only way to really know for sure is to get inside the case and look but if it runs and keeps time well I wouldn't fool with it until it needs service.

And I really couldn't tell from the pictures but it looks like the crystal is cracked ?

Whatever the case it's still a gorgeous watch that any collector would be proud to have in their display case !

P.S. Glad you found the box sometimes it's just as valuable as the watch that came in it.
