In August, Adam and I went for a quick road trip to Connecticut to pick up a tractor from a GTTALK member (grnlark). After drooling at his collection of Bantams, we went home with the Red-E.

Sure enough, a month later, he had another tractor for sale that Adam was eyeing up quite a bit. It just happened to be around our 4 year wedding anniversary, so Matt was nice enough to let me purchase it without telling Adam. Arranged for a friend of mine to pick it up because I wasn't ready for another trip from Wisconsin to Connecticut!

Today, we met that friend of mine outside of Chicago, Illinois and loaded the tractor into my truck.

I think the present was a success!

Now I am worried what Matt will have for sale next!

We stopped at a local collector's house last night and got the tour of all his oddball equipment and then his collection of small engines. Spotted this one and the collector was nice enough to sell it to Adam.

Adam already picked up a Briggs for this tractor and was in the process of going through it. Looks like this one might already have the brackets for the Speedex!
