This was in our local paper this morning , a thief  is a thief whether it's from your house , a stick-up or this "white collar" crime  , some victims knew him for years and trusted him with their money , seniors , widows , he didn't care

It happens all too often. You tend to hear a lot about it when well to do people are fleeced but not so much when average folks get taken. One of our major banks up here in Canada got into trouble recently for being the banker for one of these scams. We only have a handful of big banks up here, and no small ones at all, so when one of them gets in trouble it's big news.  Heres a link.http://www.cbc.ca/ne...cheme-1.1865090

That was an interesting read. Thank you Al. I hope that justice is served, Though the victims probably won't recover much, if any.

I think that he makes a excellant case for bringing back drawing and quartering. Investing in the stock market really is almost as risky. I prefer government insured accounts. I don't make much, but I won't lose anything either. Good Luck, Rick

If they take a few of them out and put a bullet through their heads it will discourage a lot of it.

You're right, Willie, and it really discourages repeat offenders too,  lol.   I'd like to see all child molesters, drug dealers and rapists treated the same way. A bullet , lethal injection or rope is a heck of a lot cheaper for the tax payer than ten years in jail and then you're up for parole because you "showed remorse". I'll stop now before I really get on my soap-box and get out of hand. Not many things get my fur up, but this topic does, in spades.

I agree Oldedeere when I get to talking about all this it get my fur up as well.  They are all the time talking about cut's, a bullet or rope would be a lot cheaper then building a new pen!

Happens far too often. People in this world are sick and its terrible.

Me and a guy in town today were discussing the fact that locally here we are sheltered from the world. Small area, we all help each other out and basically we are in our own world. Kids still run around town, have fun, and are watched by the whole town.
