One year ago today, after a routine physical, a stress test, an echocardiogram, and then an angiogram I found out that I had a birth defect in the way my hearts blood supply was formed and I was close to dropping over dead and had no idea anything was wrong! As I lay in bed for 4 hours after the angiogram the heart surgeon came in and explained what was wrong with my hearts plumbing and how close I was to a massive heart attack that I would not have survived. Then he gave me the good news. WE CAN FIX THAT! So very shortly after this I was in for triple bypass heart surgery.
Fast forward to today. After surgery, and cardiac rehab I feel better than I have in years and every day is a bonus day. I am very lucky to have had good doctors that took a small warning pain, asked the right questions and found and fixed the problem.
I intend to be around for a long time yet playing with tractors and having as much fun as I can. Life is good!

Yep, my neighbor passed away Friday night...only 64yrs old! He's been one terrible neighbor, but I'd not wish that on anyone. Life is fleeting, so everyone take good care of one's self & get a fleet of garden tractors!
