Too bad about the gearbox Doug. Stuff happens.

Maybe you could post a picture, just in case we see one.

Glad to hear Daniel's 990 found a new home.  We've all drooled over that machine for years!

Too bad you're so far north, I'm downsizing a bit right now, and could probably be convinced to sell my snowthrower.

Mower Deck Pictures, she looks good with the deck mounted.

Looks like the outer bearing failed and the shaft came out.

If I put the shaft back in it meshes with the gear and when I turn it it drives the deck.

You'll have that fixed in no time Doug.

Yes, it does look good wearing the deck.

That's good that it didnt blow up. Is the bearing a standard one?

(Oh, and did you get the warranty when you bought it? LOL)

3 POINT

After I took the mower deck off I tried out the 3 point hitch I got for it from "Texas Deere and Horse"

I only have 2 cat 0 attachments for it, Brinly 12" plow and Brinly double disc set.

Both fit and work great, tractor has no trouble at all pulling either one of them.

This is the first time since I had theses attachments that I've used both of them.

The plow needed some adjustments to work, to be expected.

The double disc set is heavy and the lift can't fully pick it up, lifts it enough that you can drive around and not tear up the lawn, but won't pick it up as high as the plow unless you help it.

There is an adjustment for the lift to increase the capacity or power it has to lift heavy stuff.

Looking good there Doug. You may consider adding some type of helper spring to help lift the disc?

That sounds like a good idea! Glad it's working well for you. Hope you get the mower fixed soon!

I had the same problem you did with your 12" plow Kenny, didn't want to plow deep, I moved the plow pins to the same spot you did on your plow and works much better.

Wow, that looks like a great setup Doug. I think you may be falling in love with the internal combustion engine.

Very nice photos of a very nice machine with some great implements.  Get that deck fixed, you'll have a triple threat tractor!
