Hi everyone, my wife lined us up to pull a float in a parade with our '55 GMC. The parade was in honor of the 125th anniversary of Oelrichs, SD and she has had relatives living there more than 60 years. Her folks still live there along with many other relatives. The float signifies her family since they came to this little town in 1948 or'49, they go back and forth on that one. 160 mile round trip and the GMC ran great.

The float won the "Spirit of 125" award which was best historical.

There was a 1949 10 HP Mity Mite GT that looked like a sweet little tractor. I didn't get pictures or a chance to talk to him, since we were assembling and pulling the float but a friend took a bunch of pics.

Here's the float and some tractor pics.

Hello, and thanks for the kind responses and "thanks"! I will post the cars from the rest of the family members that were in this parade too.

The first 3 are creations of my wife's uncle "Captain Jim" who is driving the boat car and still lives in Oelrichs. His yellow car is "Buford" and the Black and red one is "Abe"

The '46 or '47 Plymouth (I forget) is Jim's brother Chris who drove up from Denver, the El Camino is Leonard from a ranch near Oelrichs and the Camaro is my wife's brother-in-law, Warren from Rapid City.
