About a month ago, I decided to put an older set of Bose speakers on CL for trade towards Garden Tractor stuff. I don't "entertain" anymore now that I'm "old" and loosing my hearing...so I don't need speakers either... :D
I got a hit from a gent who didnt need speakers, but didnt need the old Sears stuff more. He was willing to take the speakers, little cash and a handshake.
Here is what I came home with.

917.252111 5 blade disc (40")
image.jpg
917.253020 10" plow.
image.jpg
And the rest of the 917.253110 lift (that should work with the 18/6 or the 19.9)
image.jpg image.jpg

It's all in good shape, nice to have a back up 10" plow.
I met a nice guy tonight and we both left happy. I know I did anyways.

I can't believe how little use these have seen. The only rust is on top of the disc frame. Maybe an old battery for weight? Dunno, but it isn't bad. The plow needs some light sanding and a little paint. The lift just needs to choose a tractor. I'm thinking maybe the 18-6. Maybe my rescue GT6000. I've got time.

Nice score Alan.

I'm surprised you waited this long to get rid of your

speakers.

Maybe you just forgot that you had them. :D

Nice attachments Alan. What model of Bose did you trade?

They were sequentially numbered 101's with the wall mounts.

Nice trade ! Is a 5 disc a rare item ?

They made fewer of them, but they were later on. They were spaced just a little different and were thought of as "for the bigger tractors".

Nice score Alan.

Sorry to burst your bubble but you are not old yet. Now is when you are  just starting to go downhill. Enjoy the youth you have. Good Luck, Rick

Alan, you're a long way for 'old'. I think I know, I have a 20 year old brain in this body at times! Just won't do what I want it to!
