I'm wanting to buy or build a sleeve hitch for my MF 10. My question is...Are all sleeve hitches the same, such as dimensions, capacity and lift or are they specific to the GT and vary in size, capacity and such. I'd like to have something compact and close to the tractor but don't want to sacrifice lift. Eventually, I'll want to convert my dethatcher, spike aerator and core aerator to sleeve hitch style so I don't have to get off the tractor to raise them when going over sidewalks and driveways.

Thanks, Terry

I think for lift height and leverage you want to stay with the original design for the MF. I think Alan "mh81" or one of the other MF guys has a set of plane for a MF sleeve hitch.

Awesome! What operates the sleeve hitch? Would it be the deck height control lever on the left?

Terry, Not being a MF guy I can't say but would think that it has a bar to connect to the mid lift rock shaft.

This link should help explain how the hitch looks, mounts and operates.

Thank you. It makes perfect sense now. I had never seen one set up.
