Hello, All. This is my first post. I just joined and look forward to this community. I just bought a John Deere Sabre 2354. You would think information would be easy to come by but that is not the case. I found the Operators
Manual at JD online. What I cannot locate is a manual for the Tuff Torq K66 transaxle. Any info on this mower would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Kev

Simplicity has the operation/parts manual if we don't have it here.

We had a large selection of JD manuals. Until JD contacted us and requested that we no longer have any of their manuals on our site.
We have been unsure why Deere would not want everyone to be able to keep their tractors maintained, but that is their decision.
It was an unpopular decision, and one that cost them some loyalty.
When you have a specific question, our members have been very good about helping as much as they can.

Never have been a fan of jd for my own reasons and I have nothing against the people who like them. My question is, isn't this attitude from jd contrary to what they did for farmers in the past? Surely they are not so bad off that they need to sell their manuals to stay afloat. I realize they are not the only company doing this but come on.

I'm sure they have their reasons and we were sorry that is the stance they chose, but we have honored their wishes.
If they change their position, we hope they will notify us so we can get back to trying to keep their products running as long as possible and enjoyed by as many as possible.

I'm just getting in to the hobby/addiction to garden tractor collecting and looking for ways to fix my purchases this year. I purchased a JD 318 w/ 3-point hitch. It came with a rear PTO switch, did not realize I had to find a PTO assembly and install that until I researched, duh. Found the operations and technical manuals out on the internet for it.

As of yesterday I purchased a JD 317 and found that it needs a lot of work. I having been searching for operations and technical manuals with no avail. The serial number starts with -129000. The previous owner assured me it would start but I haven't had any luck. Plan on replacing the battery cables and battery since they were pretty corroded. I'm hoping this will help but really appreciate some literature on fixing it.

Thanks.
