Afternoon, I just pick up 1985 316 JD tractor less Onan engine. And I was wondering if a Lombardini twin air cooled cylinder 25LD 330-2 16.5 hp diesel would be good choice. The tractor is complete less engine. The Lombardini diesel I have,.. two of,..running and with 12v electrics.

The other Lombardini diesel engine is sitting in a MF 1650 tractor. Which I am now ready, to start  re-building the drive shaft ass'y and  the rear PTO ass'y to match. Pictures will be taken the re-construction of the MF 1650.

Sounds like an awesome choice to me. As long as you can make it fit!

Could you please post some pics of the 1650 as that I have one that I am going to put a Lombardini in. I just started mocking every thing up today and I would like some pointers.
