I decided i needed lights... i bought a $45 hole saw (OUCH! :hitting_self_roller: ) and drilled with some careful measurements... I ordered the grommets and got me some wiring. And here she is!

:dancingbanana:

i think it really makes these things look agressive, like it has a face!

I actually mowed when it was dark! HOLY BRIGHT!!! i bought the phillips bulbs at lowes used for the battery backup lights in schools. They are a hell of a lot brighter than the tsco brand...

I kinda want to make shades that look like angry eyes. Ones that go over the top 1/4 of the bulb like on trucks.

Thanks for the tip on the battery backup bulbs. Any source of commonly available replacement parts is a good thing to know

They have 36w and 50w bulbs. These are 36 and are plenty bright! and the 36's are 11.96 and the 50's are 9.95.

Suprisingly, the 50w's are cheaper!

Hey Alex I just realized you were the one that did so much research on more than one GT on CL. Several followed including me on your adventure.  I remember you kept saying you were going in a few days to look. I was getting nervous you were going to miss out on a good deal. I'm glad you got the one you wanted. On the lights I like this idea on the bulb switch. I have seen where some guys turn the lenses a quarter turn opposite of each other that gives a neat effect on the cross eyed look.
