Well yet another setback this morning.....actually a couple. First thing this morning when I got up at 2am, Kimme told me that she had blood in her urine. Then when the woke her up, she sent me a text message and told me that she was NOT going to get to go home today because they were planning to give her platelets because her platelet count was too low. They are going to watch her and see if it warrants doing a colonoscopy. She is actually starting to feel a little bit better and has gotten some of her appetite back but still has a ways to go.
I am thinking that it is time to hook the trailer up and head to the garden and take my frustrations out with a bottom plow. Hopefully she will be home by the weekend. The kids can watch her long enough for me to burn a tank of diesel fuel......lol

Robert, Find a way to let some emotion out! I can say that I know a lot of what you are going through! Being tough all the time is NOT the way to handle it. Share some emotion with the kids, it will bring you guys closer together. Above all, find a way to vent some. Go plow if that will help. But we are here to help all we can, too!

Plow away! Whatever works for you. Good to hear she feels better, any positive has to help.

AMEN to that Sarge!!

Many of us have been through similar experiences so we understand the need to let it go. If Plowing will relieve some of the stress then let her rip!

yesterday was another day filled with Bad news.......I spent 4 hours at the hospital with her PASSED OUT from exhaustion before I had to leave and go get the kids and take them to my sister in law and by the time I got back I spent about an hour visiting with her before it was time to get some sleep before I had to be back at work this morning. I HATE not being there to talk to the Dr's. I will sit down later and give you all the full update when I have time to get my thoughts all together and lined up. Needless to say, things have not be going well at all.

I sure do hate to hear of the continuing battle. You guys just have to get some good news soon. Life can be hard enough even without health issues, and Kimme's health issues are so serious. It's so frustrating because there is nothing any of us can do except offer moral support & prayers. I know you're maxed out Robert, so please take care of yourself!

That's the best news I've heard in a long while Robert! And no need to thank us for anything, as it's our pleasure to help our friends & their families.....from the bottom of our hearts! GTtalk is so much different from any other forum I've ever belonged to. I've seen friendship at some other forums, but not to the extent like we take pride in here. Tell Kimme we are happy for all of you & to keep on keeping on!
