I used the search function; I hope this isn't a dupe topic!

Emerson, Arkansas (about 60 miles from where i sit, while impatiently waiting to get home to New Hampshire), is home to the Purplehull Pea Festival and World Championship Rototiller Races.

The challenge of racing a tiller down 200 feet of plowed ground isn't how fast your tiller can go, but whether or not you can keep up.  :D

I've seen those before. Totally out of control and looks real dangerous. Can you imagine the carnage if there was a collision with the spectators.

I think I would want to get back to New Hampshire too. Who knows what's next.

They look just about out of control. I think I will just keep mine for gardening. Just a bit calmer activity.

I really hope they have a dead mans switch on them. Blending the crowd might hurt their attendance

Yes, they're required to have a tethered kill switch.

Yes, they're required to have a tethered kill switch.

And are limited to only second gear.
