I was liking the loader also until i raised it up almost all the way and looked over and noticed one of the lifting rams was bent. IMAG00343.jpg I have no idea how or why it bent, after measuring 3 different times I have a new pair on order from Surplus Center that should be here Thurs or Friday.

My quess the cylinder that bent has a longer stroke than the one on the other side.

. Both rams where the same, I had them rebuilt this spring. I think one got in a bind one one of the mounts for the rams.

Wow, that's nasty.
Sorry to see it. At least you're on the road to fixing it.

This is the start of my collection!

First is a MF16 with a 54'' deck and the second one is my 1650.

At the start of my restoration project on my 1650

After the project completion

Then if it wasn't enough, I decided to add a FEL on my 1650

I enjoy making these works. The MF16 will probably go through a restoration next summer or fall if time permits...

Just added a second MF16 to the family! I picked it up last night. It's missing a starter plus the governor linkage assembly. I have a spare governor linkage but will need to temporarily take the starter off the first one to test the engine and see what shape it's in. Then off it will go for a complete dis-assembly and restoration.

Had the old rig out tilling up garden no.1 today. Worked decent, going to give it another going over tomorrow then get garden 2 started. Hoping to get the tiller put away by Monday then get the mower deck strapped on.
