I decided to nominate my Bolens 800 after all.

I bought this Bolens 800 off of eBay last year. It ended up being one of the best deals that we have come across so far. The auction on the tractor ended in the middle of the day through the normal work week which helped with there not being too many other bidders on it. We won the auction with a bid of $325.00. The pictures on the auction showed about three buckets worth of parts that were included along with an extra mower deck and a snow blower.

My son went down to pick the Bolens 800 up with a Dodge Caravan. Come to find out it came with way more stuff then we were expecting. It came with 3 mower decks, one complete and two shells, a snow blower, a snow blade, about 8 buckets of parts. It was basically a torn apart 1254 and a bunch of extra parts. There were about 3 drivelines, 3 or 4 engines which basically don't belong to any Bolens. There was also an auxiliary hydraulic lift. The van was packed full on the inside and the snow blade, snow blower and mower decks all rode on the roof rack.

Here are the pictures of my Bolens 800 decorated for Christmas.

Alright where is the rest of the nominations at? You don't have to have lights to get them decorated. A little garland or a Santa hat will work.

I thought there would have been more nominations already. The nominations are over Sunday night. Whether we have just two entries or 15 the show must go on so get them in while you can. I might decorate the Massey MF12 this weekend.

I can't believe that there's only two so far. What has happened since the previous two months, the spots were filled very quickly.we had lots that wanted to enter there tractors ,and now only two. What is it too cold to pull the tractors out and put some decorations on .Heck if my 1655 wasn't on deck right now I'd be putting decorations on it,even with it only getting a daytime high today of -18 c with wind chill today it's a cool -28c.its going to get cold the next few days/nights lows of -30.If not too many are entered I'll have to take some of the Allis decorated up.Come on guys don't make me freeze tommoro.Larry

Guess we're a lazy bunch, or once we get about to put on the decorations, we just go play on the tractor instead! :bigrofl:

Here's my Allis 716H thats now a 712H .I just got this tractor the end of October so it's still slowly being restored.I'am pretty much done on the mechanical aspect of the tractor and it will get fresh paint come warmer weather. I saw this tractor on Kijiji in winnipeg one morning,it was around 7 am the guy had just posted it for $320. saying it could be a good winter project for some one as the motor was shot and it needed some TLC.He said he had sold his place and was moving into town and didn't have room at the new place.I called him right away and had a nice chat with him,and told him I could be there in a couple hrs to buy it from him.He said he wasn't going to be home untill 3:30 pm so I told him I'd be there and I'd buy it from him sight unseen. So he gave me his address and cell number and he wanted me to call him before I got to his place.Anyway I did what he asked and I was in his driveway at 3:30 pm.He wasn't home when I got to his place but was able to look at the tractor and check it out before he got there which was 5 minutes after my arrival. After we had loaded everything up,he told me that he must have had about 75 calls today about the tractor and he had to tell everyone that it was already sold.I got very lucky to have gotten it,in this case it was the early bird got the worm.I've been looking for one like this for awhile now and am very glad to have gotten it.I had put the harness on our dog but she wasn't going to pull the sleigh, she'd much rather ride in the sleigh LOL.Larry
