I'm looking into buying a set of new tire chains for my Elec Trak. I have never bought new, only used. Most of the chains came with the tractors in the deal.

I am looking at tirechains.com in PA. Anyone have any input on them? Any other good places to look? I like the two link chains. 23x10.5x12

Whichever supplier that you buy the chains from I would definatley get the 2 link spaced cross chains. They always have at least one cross chain in contact with the ground and don't give the tire near as much chance to start spinning as the 4 link chains do.

I bought chains last year from Vulcan tire. I checked their site the other day and they are offering free shipping. Don't know how their prices will compare. I was going to order more chains but found the 2 sets I bought last year when I was cleaning up in the garage.( Getting older and forgetting what I have) We have used the 2 link so far, but the one set I bought was the 4 link. They are on the 800 in the picture George posted. They did ride smoother going down the driveway but still need snow to give them true test.

The last set of chains I bought were from Vulcan tire. I shopped around last year and they had the best price I found. Ordering was easy and delivery was fast.
