But.... a guy should be dropping these off tomorrow. I've been looking for a set forever. I paid top dollar but seems the stuff is high for anything gt related any more.

I don't know much about them. What's the dd stand for? He said they cut well. I had a regular single gang several years ago that only did so so

If it is as dry there as it is here, I would not judge the disc by what it will do till it rains some.
I tried to do some tilling last week and looked lie I had been rolling in the dust.
Literally had a dust storm when i blew myself off with the compressorr'j

not to be overly noisy but whats a lot? i know its location location location but whats all the hush about, i personally dont see what the problem is telling people what you pay, i think it would help us all to know what the 1975 disc, tractor whatever is worth, we could cataloge it and make up a black book just like the car dealers, i check google for sale items but that does not mean they have sold at that price which are sometimes outragous, so when you get that deal on a mint wheel horse 520 give us the price so we and others know, not the asking $3500 on google thats been there for 3years looking for a sucker

That's about what I would expect to pay for a tandem disc.

At $150.00, I'd say you did good.

New SINGLE ones from Brinly, that don't look to be as well made, go in the 180.00 range.

That makes me feel better. Maybe I'm just stuck on prices from 10 years ago.

Sounds like a fair price to me. You got something you've wanted for a long time and that has value to you that others might not appreciate. We all get high expectations from the posts on here about 20$ tractors and free implements. In the real world that's not what most of us pay for stuff.

I absolutely concur. Value is not only in the tractor and attachments but in the distance from home, the fullfillment of finding exactly what yiu've been waiting for, the specific set up, the color (i.e. just like dad's was), the maintenance record, and on and on.
