Guys, I need your help. I bought 2 332 JD tractors back in July and I need some help IDing one of them. One of them has both the tractor serial number and the JD/Yammar engine ID tag. The other one only had the engine ID tag, the tractor ID tag peeled off with the paint from corrosion. I think they are the same year model, but want to get some other ID numbers to see if I can find it out for sure. Here's what I have.

The first 2 tags are from the same tractor,

This tag is from the engine of the unknown tractor.

As you can see, the one I need to ID has an engine number 2424 higher then the other one.

The earlier tractor appears to be a 1989 year model.

Good News, The guys from another site (WFM) gave me the contact infomation to John Deere Customer Contact Center After talking to Samantha, giving her my Engine ID number, she was able to back track the tractor and gave me the Product Information Number (PIN) or ID number for this tractor. It's actually a 1990, M00332X011378 332 John Deere. Now I can take that number to my local JD dealer and they can make a replacement ID tag for it.

Here is the info if anyone else needs to do this,

John Deere Customer Contact Center

Turf & Utility Products

Here is the email address to the Customer Care Center -- mailto:ccc@mailnj.custhelp.com

I am also going to add this to a sticky thread in the JD forum.

I think you should just bring me the extra 332 so that you don't have to worry about that pesky old ID plate.
