Hello All,

I just picked up a very nice Wagner from a fellow forum member. Here a couple photos. If anyone can help me out with dating this tractor please let me know. The serial number is 5176. I recieved with it the original mower deck, snow blade, and 8" plow. I added the IH weights as I plan to plow with it in Renfrew Pa in November.

Thanks again,
Mike

The hood of that looks alot like the hood of one of my MagnaTracs. Is the engine B & S 23D? Date it by the engine. Good Luck, Rick

There is a member here from up by Dallas who collects these and know quite a bit about them, I will see if I can find him and get him to respond.

The Magnatrac and Wagners are not the same GT, but did look alike.

Your engine was made in January of 1961.  Usually engines for small manufacturers were put in quickly, instead of up to a year later on large manufacturers.

My last name is Wagner.  I would love to own one of those tractors just for the heck of riding around on it.  The hood also looks like a Farmall 60 series, and I always liked that style.

I love the look. As Ben W. mentioned, it looks like a Farmall. I used a 560 growing up and that's the first thing I saw here.

Well Thank you everyone,

Now should I leave it as is, which i'm leaning toward or should I repaint it for a cleaner fresher look. I believe i have seen that there is a person that reproduces the decals.

Thanks, Mike

Mike, I look forward to seeing it at Renfrew. It's still in my plans.
