I picked up this rider for my son to use. The previous owner did not know who the manufacturer was. Some one has put a 8hp broad in it. It's not the original motor. It is well built. All metal construction.

That's cool! Don't have a clue what it might be, though!

Dash tower and pedals look like what JD used a lot

Might do a google search on those. Looks a little "unfinished" for JD tho.

Nice little mower.

I believe that is made by MTD. I had one almost identical except it was green.

Do you remember about what year it was and what engine it had?  Mine has a briggs 8hp.  But it is not original.  I have tried to google images of mtd mowers but have not found one like this one.

I am not sure what year it was. But it either had a 7 or 8 hp Briggs and stratton engine.
