Anyone attended the Penn's Cave Tractor Show this weekend, up near State College Pennsylvania? If so, don't forget us home bound members that want to see pictures. I think the feature tractor brand this year is John Deere, so there should be plenty around. The last time I went when John Deere was the feature, I think they had over 1,100 John Deere's. When you added in the remaining brands like Allis Chalmers, Oliver, Farmall, International and Fords, I think their grand total was around 3,000. Very nice show, and lots to see and do there. I highly recommended going if you have the opportunity. The show runs today (Thursday) through Sunday. Camping available on site (no hookups) and around five acres of flea market vendors to keep the wives occupied. Tractor Pulls every night except Sunday.

I'm going tomorrow and supposed to be nice weather.I remember the last time JD was featured, they had a Dain or maybe I should say thee Dain.

It's not real heavy on GT's as big as the show is and I don't think they give you free admission with a GT.

I'll be there Saturday! Went in the fall on Sunday, but it looked rather empty.

For those that do go if you get lots of pictures I can setup a global album in the gallery under events for this year to upload the pictures to. Just let me know if you need it done :D

I'm considering a run up there on Saturday.  It should be about as nice a day for it as is possible.

I have to take my wife to the airport early and then we'll see if I feel like going to the show or working on the Meteor's engine.

Decisions, decisions.

Ewwww.  I just discovered it's a Penn State home game weekend.  I may have to rethink this.

I got about 60 pictures from the show on Friday but used a different camera and the pictures are not the best quality.

I made it too.  I haven't even looked at my pics yet.  That's on tomorrow's "to do" list.

Anybody here into John Deere?? :smilewink:   Let me just say, 497 John Deere tractors in the tractor parade alone.  And that's just the people willing to sit in an hour+ long tractor parade.  There had to be EASILY twice that in attendance.

I spent all 4 days there until I had to leave at noon Sunday. It was a super show! Lots of tractors and a good showing of the feature tractor, John Deere. There was also a very good turn out of garden tractors. I didn't get many pictures at all there is just to much to do and I couldn't find the time. Rumor had it there was 500 JDs and 500 other tractors registered. I know the show area seemed full. I have been going now for four years and this was by far the biggest turn out I have seen.

Uploading all 167 photos and videos to PhotoBucket. Should have them ready by tomorrow afternoon. Found it'll just be easier for myself to manage.

Here they are!

I just went through your pictures. You caught some stuff I didn't see.
We must have been standing next to each other taking pictures of the two steam tractors waiting to enter the parade. Along with the nodded and chromed JD gt pulling the trailer with his wife in the back.
