My 1978 2418 came with 2 brochures the 1977 had hand written prices . My guess was a dealers quote but I don't know if those prices included the attachments listed . Anybody have an idea ? I uploaded the brochure but it's not on the site yet . Here's the page.scan0020.jpg

Back then, you could almost buy a car for those prices......Glad we are buying those today.....at $100-$1000

That is what I was thinking. You could certainly buy a really nice used car for that price.

Your files should be showing in the manuals section now Alc.

Even now those prices would buy us a nicer vehicle then what we have now LOL.

I am curious too if that included the attachments or if it was for the tractor only.

I had a hard time making out what the writing was on the left and then I took another look at it. Looks like it says "Tractor, Loader Bucket, 60" mower.

I am going to take a guess that the price quoted on the right was for everything.

I also enjoy looking at old brochures , manuals ,things like that . Would it be appropriate to post a 1931 Harley-Davidson Accessories Catalogue in the " Misc" Manual section ?

I think it would be alright if it is in the misc category. Everyone likes to see the old stuff no matter what it is.
