I use one identical to yours to cultivate between my gardens' corn rows. I added some 6" sweeps and a suitcase weight. Works fine.

I need to find some sweeps for this one. It has 55 lbs of weights on top!

Kenny will you be using sweeps for getting close to plants or are you using them for another purpose ? My push plow works good when I use a " beet sweep" for getting under the leaves of beans once the plants are pretty big .

Don't have a garden spot as yet. I was looking more at something to tear up grass/weeds maybe 1-1/2 to 2" deep. Maybe loosen gravel some (grass growing in it). Just more to get the grass roots out of things.
If I did a garden, I'd set the rows so I could run through there till the plants got too tall.

I bought my sweeps at the local John Deere stealership. I don't remember the exact price, but they weren't bad.

That looks stronger than some I've seen. Good repair and modifying work.
