I picked up a Craftsmen snowblower at an auction awhile back. Didn't have anything it would fit on,but it went cheap!!! I was wondering if anybody knew what it fit. It is a model 842-210722. I'll get pics. of it tomorrow.

Pics would be a big help. I believe the mfg is Haban, but beyond that... What mount, belt orientation, etc?

I will take the number and look.

Number isn't anything recognized by Sears US. It is possible it's a Canadian model derivation.

It is for a vertical shaft tractor. Tag says Sears and Roebuck so it is an older one.

Yea, I did a search but didn't find a whole lot. Actually Google had NOTHING for the full model number.

Possibly for a GT18V, was made by Haban, Sears has dozens of these 842 blowers on their site, but none with as many numbers after the 842 as the one you posted

I've got a 842.240510 so not sure how close in years it is to yours, but the looks are the same.

Got mine mounted on a mid 90's Craftsman "Gold" basically an LT1000, mounted on a late 80's craftsman before that. I would say if you can't find your model #, use mine for parts as they looks identical. I can show you pics off all the mounts also, has a set bolted to frame behind front tires and another set bolts to frame right in front of rear tires.

Looks like someone has changed the engagement lever on your idler puller, don't think the red ball was a stock item . :D

Kinda hard to explain, but mine had a tube the slides over the lift arm that turns. The rod was attached to it, you turned the tube to engage pulley.

EDIT: looking at your pictures, that is 240722, not a 1 or a dash. Stamped probably 3rd shift on Saturday morning at 6:30 right before quitting time :D
