Not to start a pro vs con discussion here, but way back in the day, when they were draining wetlands often, plows like those were used. First, to do a set of drainage paths, then to plow the new land the first time.

They were pretty rare up North here but I've seen a couple in my life.

the first video is a demosration at the Florida Flywheelers show and was used to make a furrough to lay a pipelinr.That video does not shoe the real size of that plow
