Scratched one off my want list today...I never really thought this many 'keepers' would find their way home, and my concern is growing.  I can't afford a shop expansion, so I'll just have to play the tractor-shuffle a bit more often.  This is an Allis-built, Homlite T-16S...S for Shuttle transmission.  Fairly scarce machine, especially in original skin. (See also, Okie's T-16H...Hydro)

Super clean, appears all original except for the seat and 12V coil.  Well cared for, for sure.  No deck rust to speak of, and runs and drives great.  This is my first running Shuttle, and I like it!  It's a smooth operator, and seems very effective  Would make an excellent mowing, blowing and tilling setup from what I can tell.  It even has belts that look new, with 'Simplicity' still clearly visible.  Electric lift is neat...another first for me.  It's quicker and quieter than I thought it would be.  Electric PTO is slick too.  I really like the way it's set up...must have been a dream machine back in the day.  Heck, it still is for me. Darn clean blower

And a winter carb cover...never seen one on an AC Homelite.

I got her at auction, and it looks like there's witness marks from duct tape...think she sat roadside for sale with a sign on her?

Wow, congrats! Glad you found a really nice one. But what's up with the rh discharge deck being white? Any sign of blue paint on it?

Btw, I haven't mentioned this privately or publicly so I'm fixing it right now. Thanks for being and posting here, I've missed hearing from you.

Thanks for the kind words and warm welcome! This sure seems like a great place to chat and browse. =]

You caught me on the deck...it hadnt struck me. I cannot see any signs of refinish, so it was either done well, or perhaps its an Allis deck? The chute has repairs, and the front mounts have repair or reinforcement added, it appears. The finish appears aged like the tractor, but has a heavier, textured paint. Never examined an Allis deck to know if this matches those. I can tell ya that I like it...no blue overload I suppose, but white is tough to keep looking good.

Forgot to mention...I love original prints for all my stuff, and this came with 2 of the 3 manuals I would need.

Boy that operators manual is scarce. It would be nice if you could turn that into a PDF and share it.

Very nice acquisition Josh! 36_1_11.gif Looks like the last model of the T-16S.

Would you post a close-up shot of the model/serial number tag for us? Are the first three numbers in the serial number 336?

I'm with Phil. Wish you would post a PDF of the tractor owner's manual to the manuals section here.

I suppose that would be a 1600336? No data available on that mfg number.
