So sad Daniel, will keep them in our thoguths and prayers here.  Hope they can make amends and heal thru this.  Some in my family have been at each other for 5 years now over things that are just so trivial.  Sad part about it is that before the non communication between them started they were the closest people in the family for YEARS!

Had a neighbour try to unplug a big round baler while it was running. His pregnant wife went out to find him when he was an hour late coming in to lunch. Not much left of the man. Our cardinal rule ever since then has been -- nobody gets out of the tractor 'til the PTO . is off. I hope for the best for your friend, Daniel.

Those are some tough times for a family. Hope they draw closer to get through this instead of driving them farther apart. They will be in our prayers.

Hate to hear of the accident. Hopefully the streak of misfortune will end for them here.

Really sad.  It's hard to believe what we take for granted with our safety.

How many times are you trouble shooting your tractor and lay down beside the mower deck with the blades running to watch the belt?  Or hear a strange noise?  How many times have you gotten lucky?

Everyone needs to be safe and consider our actions.  Our actions not only affect us, but our loved ones.  Be safe everyone and consider your actions before you act in haste or anger when working on equipment.

He's doing well.  Already had 2 surgeries.  He will be fitted for prostetics asap.  He is said to be in good spirits even.  I gotta find some time to go see him.

Thanks for the update. It's amazing how fast they want people up and moving around now.
