I need some advice on a MF7 that is being offered to me. I have never dealt with one of these and I am not sure what would be a fair price. The pic shows a replacement engine, but the owner does have the original other than that I believe it is all there.

That's a Hydro drive, they didn't make too many of them.

100_2730.JPG my fnl bought one at a show this past summer that had been painted, it is a gear drive and I think it is a 71. had new ags on it, gave 300.00$$$ which I thought was pretty good.

In it's current shape I'd say 200.00 wouldd be MORE than fair, 100.00 would be great, and 150.00 would be a good deal

It's obviously been painted but otherwise looks solid in the photo. Check the front spindles and wheel bearings for wear. Another problem spot are motor mounts although I have an 8 which has rubber mounts and I'm not sure about a 7.

Considering you'll have a bit of work, to get it back to original, if

that's your intent, I'd say 200 tops.
