That might work, but I am out here tonight on the laptop with 2-3 bars and the lag is almost unbearable. I don't want to open the door to increase the signal for obvious reasons, it's chilly out there.

My Son and I are going to Altex next payday and see what I can come up with that will allow ne to use the desk top and allow the laptop and my Grandson's gadgets to work better. I like the idea of an outside antenna as I am an old RF guy. I am using an old magmount CB antenna for the TV right now until I can build a proper one out of PVC pipe.

Took the day to rearrange the man cave. Moved all the shelves to the Offices side, set the screen to a more permanent location. Shop cat watched TV for a while. Then my Grandson came home from School. He likes the new setup.
Yes I was in shorts and sandals for this work, Supposed to get chilly later this week.

We have 3" on the ground, more falling 4 to 6 foretasted, but looking at the radar I don't see it the storm has already moved over us, and its pretty much stopped snowing now. Then its 0 with -15 wind chill.
This is the worst winter we have had in ages.

Had a real use of the man cave this evening. Temps were falling towards the 20's and the wind chill was in the teens. My Son's car alternator decided to fall off. I refuse to work on this car any more, but offered a place that he could work on it. Had to fold the mirrors in for it to fit. I guess I need to test fit my vehicles. He had to use a floor jack and jack stands, no problem with the floor.
