HOME MADE TRACTOR (Waterford, CT)

Home made tractor with crossly 4 cycle 3 speed transmission with hydraulics. Runs but needs new battery. Have spare engine plus other parts.

Thanks Ben. That is the second time you've offered your trailer for me to bring home a homemade tractor this summer. Both have Crosley front ends too. I think that the one my father in law built will be enough.

 

I've got to fix my truck and big trailer in order to handle anything over 1000 pounds. Unfortunately, there are several more urgent projects ahead of them on my honeydo list. Good Luck, Rick

Not getting that for free is like throwing away $500. The trans is worth $250 and a running Crosley engine is worth $250 to $400.

I didn't have the ability. It had been posted for over an hour by the time I saw it. It was probably already gone. I am very familiar with Crosleys. My younger brother had two. One was built into a woods buggy and years later when he turned 16 he picked up a station wagon to drive. They were funny little cars with overhead cam engines. The two of us could pull the engine out of the car by hand. Good Luck, Rick
