If original, the S-8D is an 8 hp engine.

Then you have time to install the "Mother-in-Law" seat on the rear of the tractor. :D

Nice parade outfit you've bought.   Rick

i do not have that. so is there a belt in the middle then shafts on front and back? how much are they used? and how are they enguaged?

I don't see the PTO in your pics, as it would/ should be @ center, below nornal front axle. (right about where there now seems to be a central support square tube extension) Ido see the engagement lever., it's the bent one with small  thin bracket. all the way left is off, right is on. Wouldn't imagine it's connecting to any thing now. Good luck, it's a very interesting piece as it's now configured.

Looks like an 850 to me.It's missing the Hi/Lo leaver just above the Pto leaver.

Wisconsin S8D 8.25hp

There's a Lift handle on Ebay.Seems a Little pricey but looks to be complete.

I would say it was an 850

Looks to be hacked up a bit and missing parts.....

Are those chrome strips easily removable on the hood?

Going to be hard putting decals on with all that in the way
