Howard I am hoping to make Saturday but I have got to get a few projects completed before I can come. I will probably not make that decision till Friday evening. Which day are you going? Thanks for posting this. .

I hope to go Saturday.  If so, I will try to bring a Gravely, probably one or more Masseys, and maybe a bit of stuff to try and sell.  I need to call the organization and make sure that's Ok.

Scott, I forgot to call today, so I sent an email.  If I haven't heard back by the time I get home, I'll try calling.

Got a response to the email.  I forgot to ask about selling.  To show, they would like you to show up Friday, or between 7:00 and 7:30 am Saturday morning.  I'll try to remember about selling in my next round.

Had some nice conversations with two of the event staff, Wanda and Whitney.  Good news is both ladies were very accommodating,  bad news is that officially, if you are trying to sell anything, you are classed as a vendor and need to pay a $25/day fee for a spot in the vendor's area.  Since I just wanted to see if I could sell a couple of Gravely implements I don't need any longer since my father's house sold, I don't think I'll try anything along those lines.

If you are interested in selling some stuff here, contact Whitney at OldFashionedFarmersday (at) (gmail) dot (com).

I will be there Saturday morning. The tractor club I am in is selling raffle tickets for a 1947 gravely L and sulky. I might be riding it around.

Howard, about those implements. Could you send me a list of what you have and prices? I might be interested in some and I think the club could be talked into purchasing one or two to go with the Raffle. All we have for the L is the sickle bar.

I hope to see you both there.

Hi coldone,

Here are the links:

http://raleigh.craig...4010110775.html

http://raleigh.craig...4010049376.html

The tiller is very much open to an offer.

The sickle bar has a gently used actuator lever and wear tip, and gently used 3inch Ford knives and rock guards.

The rotary brush is listed at $560, which I doubt I'll get, but no sense to give it away either.  I'd probably never be able to find another one if I decide I need it after I let this one go.

I would like to get a Commercial 10A off the property, but it has motor issues and I haven't had any offer I couldn't top by taking it to scrap-which I refuse to do.  I suppose I'll either tackle the engine issues myself or part it out some way.  Otherwise, it is valuable to me as a donor machine for my other tractors.

Let me know as soon as you can, otherwise I may cancel this trip because I have too much on my plate.  My sons are pretty lukewarm about going, especially as we will have to leave around 6 am if we want to show any tractors.

Those are yours, I have seen them on CL. I have a couple of sears tool bars and a 8 inch turning plow, interested in trade for the tiller? How about a pressure pot sandblaster?

I would like to get the Com 10 but too many irons in the fire already. Seems like I cant keep everything running as it is. I dont think it would take much to get the Com 10 running if you decide to keep it.

Yes, send or post a pic of the plow and the tool bars.  I think a trade might work out very well.

Coldone, I'd be happy to trade the tiller for the plow.  That work for you?

At this point, I plan on being there. I bought a bunch of stuff from a guy cleaning out a shed and some of it needs to go. A lot of junk, but maybe worth something to someone. There are a bunch of tools.....how do I price stuff like that?? pliers etc?? I was thinking of putting them in a small box and price all of the $3 or $4 dollars each?? Any ideas would be great. Also got a bunch of large drill bits....3/4 maybe 1"...etc.....how do I price that stuff?? I have never done it, so I want to price it to sell.

Working hard to get some GT/traveling money. I have cut myself off from buying anything else (well I do have some bush hog goodies to go get), till I get some things sold.

I have an old Panzer T70 I believe, and also thinking of taking one of my older rusty bush hogs.....it was running when I put it up.....carb has to be cleaned, etc.....just too much stuff and something has to go......how I am going to get all that done will be a miracle.
