An add here in Craigslist listed MF7/8 parts for sale. Being in the middle of restoring my MF8 I called the guy to see what he had. 2 hoods, couple of grills, and a rolling frame. I went to go look at them this am and ended up bringing a trailer load home. Not to bad for $100. As pictures show the rolling frame is almost a complete MF8G. 100_1757.jpg 100_1758.jpg 100_1759.jpg 100_1760.jpg 100_1762.jpg

Two items i was very happy to see in the box is a Throttle cable. I need one for my MF14 i redid, I just hope it will work. One thing I noticed is even though both hoods are from 8's, one is notched where the engine is and the other one is not.  I have not had a chance to look in the AGCO parts to see if they are the same part number as the ones for the MF8. Now the decision to rebuild this one or part it out..

If you part it out I might be interested in the dash if it isn't cracked at all the mounting locations. :D

You can always use the spare parts to make one of these:

Then I'm safe at around 70. I recently got a deal with 5 Simplicity tractors, more than a dozen attachments and dozens of boxes of parts. There is so much stuff that it is overwelming.

Fix up the spare tractor. Let the wife or a kid drive the spare. Enjoy the two tractors. Good Luck, Rick

Trail95 and Powerstroker I have sent you PM.

After looking this one over i am looking more at parting it out. I need to get my MF8 on my work table done and out of the way first.

One question I do have has anyone seen a steering button like this one 100_1770.jpg   "limited edition" ? is it an aftermarket one someone put on or actual MF one?  I dont see anything limited on this tractor it doesnt even have the "deluxe" running boards just the foot pegs. The 8 i am working on has the standard one with the MF in the middle. 100_1772.jpg . Thinking of using it on my 14 with the 16hp koler :D

If you need a definite number, ask your wife. Or post a pic and mine will let you know.
