Any chance this web site might be having problems . When I click on it I get the old HTTP 404 error message .
I need to find where on my CC104 I can find the serial number . Seems that the previous owner removed the metal tags on both the back side of the rear axle, left side and the Kohler engine's I.D. plate as well . It appears to have been repainted at least once and I'm sure they removed the plates rather than tape over them and never reinstalled them afterwords . The only number is on the right side of the transmission housing and it's the part number of the transmission assembly ; 385058R1 . Any help would be appreciated . Thank you .

I don't think you can. The only place they put the serial number on that series was the metal tag on the rear axle.

I have the same problem with my 129. After looking through the parts book, I narrowed it down to between May and Sep of 1973.
