That restores my faith in the intelligence level of judges at a car show.

Hats off to you, sir. Way to go!

Congratulations.

Well deserved, and certainly something to hang your hat on.

Very cool story, thanks for sharing!

Pretty darned neat that she won, but the tractor IS very well done.

What do you wanna bet, there are more tractors at the show next year? And that GT prices go up around there a little too LOL

Very cool story and an awesome tractor.  I don't believe I've seen any pictures of it before.  If you haven't yet, maybe you could show it off a bit in the Panzer sub-forum.

I've often thought of taking one of my tractors to a local car show but haven't followed through with it yet.

That's cool you won the car show. I've always wished people would bring tractors to car shows, I think everyone would benefit.

Nice tractor by the way, pretty sharp.

When I went to the Food Lion Auto Fair at Charlotte Motor Speedway there were a lot of full size tractors but no GTs.

I do love GTs, don't get me wrong.  However, if someone brought a car to a GT show and won I might be a little ticked.

Sorry guys. A car show is a car show. A tractor show is a tractor. If it was a "best" restoration show fine. What do we expect next, a car winning the next tractor show.

The town I live in does a cruise night every Thursday during the summer around the town square with people coming from several neighboring counties to participate and to see the cars.  I'm going to an auction this weekend to look at a 1966 Ford Ranchero.  I have visions of going to the Thursday evening cruise nights with my 1966 Ranchero with a restored 1964  John Deere 110 garden tractor in tow (or I could restore one of my 1966 110's).  If I get the Ranchero all I need is an old Snowco trailer to put the JD 110 on.  I think it would be awesome to attend a car show/cruise night with not only and old car, but also an old GT from the same era in tow.  Maybe I restore my JD 80 cart and give people hay rides towing them around the square to see the old cars riding in the 80 cart being towed with the 110?
