Just recently rebuilt engine in a sears ss14 and i cant seem to be able to adjust the throttle need advice

What is the nature of your carb problem? Rich, lean, Idle speed etc? A bit more info would be needed to offer up any help.

If it has the original Briggs, it will have the updraft carb on it, I know they can be finicky to get tuned in, but once you find the sweet spot, they run great.

Sorry, I can't help ya much more that that, I sold my SS15 before I could mess with it.
