Planning on painting my Ariens this winter.  Keeping frame black, but the orange I was planning on doing different colors. 

 

Sorry, not going purist on this one, going to have some fun with it.  This tractor is going to be used weekly for lawn duty, not a garage queen.  All the cubs we've restored went to factory colors.

 

I've thought of these 2 colors so far.  Probably going to mix automotive paint and do it up right instead of out of a can.

 

Plum Crazy Purple

 

Nitro yellow green

I'd go with the Nitro yellow green myself.  I don't think I'd want a purple garden tractor.  Just my .02.

I couldn't find my pictures right now. I have found a few interesting ones. All black, red and yellow, olive green.

The nitro yellow green will sure make it stand out.

Put a spoiler on the back and paint it 1970 Plymouth Road Runner yellow!

One in Ont Canada is painted Ford New Holland blue. I know this is a old thread but wondered what the final color was?
