Ok, GTtalk members,

:help:Our first anniversary is fast approaching on February 2nd, 2011, and our membership has grown tremendously, :good_job:. Therefore, I am PROPOSING A CHALLENGE to each one of you. I am challenging each of you to encourage new memberships (at least one per member). We have set a goal of 2500 members by February 2nd, 2011. Be sure to keep an eye on the chat rooms and we encourage your participation in our forums, or you may start your own blog. Remember we have some great emoticons to use with your posts that help us get our feelings across, they enhance a post tremendously, try them . As usual, I welcome any comments that may benefit our challenges.

HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.........Dale

I work at bringing new members all the time, but welcome your challenge Dale. So nice to see how we have grown & continue to do so. I hope we meet that goal, but even if we don't, we've done a heck of a job already. A forum is only as good as it's members, so going by that, GTT is already one very special place to be a part of! I accept your challenge Dale, but raise you one...to 2 members each!

I tell people about this site when ever lawn/garden tractors come up in discussion. I don't think anybody has to do anything to sell this site, it sells it selve.
IMO this site will be 10x as big or more a year from now. Do a goggle search on garden tractors, any make, GTTalk comes up.
I found this site on MTF reading one of NUTNDUN posts and clicking on a link at the bottom, liked GTTalk right from the start because the main focus on Garden Tractors.
What this site needs is more of what it's got, info, pic, specs, story's, questions and answers for anything GT related. Everyday it gets this, everyday it grows.

Great idea.
I will have to poke a couple of guys in the eye a bit harder. I would like to get a gentleman in Florida to come on board as an active member. Bought a tractor from him last spring and He should have a good time here.
Lil' Bro will need to be taught some computer skills and I think I can get him on board as well.

I have been working at spreading the news about this site and handing out info and cards. I got a couple of new members and hope now that things are slowing down outside and winter is here more new prospects will have time to check us out and join up. I accept the challenge and hope to do even better than that.

I have a real good buddy who lives in Syston, England. He is a real tractor nut ( I wonder what that is :D),I asked him today if he would like to join this Forum. He said he just might when he gets time,he works at Caterpillar. He has been around tractors most of his life, and is a big John Deere fan.He wasn't sure if he could join this forum because he lives over there, and I told him that I was pretty sure he could.

We have one or two members from across the pond. The site is accessible from anywhere in the world. We just happen to mainly target us and canada.

George, I did a little cut & paste, got rid of the "groups" & put a couple lines for personal notes under it.
Loaded it here: GTT flyer handout - Manuals - Garden Tractor Talk - Forums
Let me know if/when you redo your version, & I'll delete this one. - Alan
