Folks I have a Western Auto Wizard (similar to a Bolens Power Ho) that Id like to pass on.  It was last used to plow snow in the winter, it was a backup and I brought another machine into the herd so this one needs to go as I have no room to store it or work for it.  It has the homemade plow, good tires and rims(loaded), a set of chains, the original 6R6 engine, variable speed pulley, and a set of cultivators.

The weights and weight brackets have been removed and wont be going along with it.  It will need to be picked up during the week, zip 17878, I dont want the hassles of shipping.  PM me if interested and we can set something up.

Though not necessary if you have a slot or sleeve hitch for a Wheelhorse no name series and it needs a home I could use one.

Ok, I'm kind of confused here....

One picture has a different engine than the other?

In the second picture, did someone weld something to the front of the frame?

What part of PA are you in?

Yes the machine has 2 engines,, the current is a much newer B+S 4hp, and I also have the original B+S 6R6, which did run but has carb and governor issues which I chose not to resolve.  Yes the homemade plow mount was welded onto the front of the frame, I just took a good look at the underside of the frame where it is welded and I dont see any penetration through the frame, so one should be able to do some grinder work and get that pretty close to original if thats a concern.  NE PA 40 or so miles south of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton zip 17878.

Good luck selling.

I have one of those sitting at my house I'm storing for someone, except mine is missing center mount of main pulley. The one I got has plow, disc, sickle bar, and cultivator.

Not "selling" its free and it will be NO problem getting rid of I just thought if someone here wanted it I would give the members first shot. Ill keep it on here for a week then put it down by the road and if its still here it will go on a trailer to its final home where they do nasty things to iron.

The tires and engines alone are worth the asking price. If you were close I'd be there. Good Luck, Rick

I found this thread when I was doing a search for pictures of Wizard walk behinds. The tractor is now sitting in our garage. George wanted to work on something this weekend so he chose this piece. Brian (Texas Deere and Horse ) dropped this at our place on his last visit. It wasn't until we took the replacement off that we stumbled across the original slightly hidden in the garage. I had completely forgotten that Brian had left the original engine. George wants to work on the original Briggs and Stratton for the Wizard and has posted about it in a different  thread.
