That might be 5 tractors off the list now.  But there's still time for repairs & for things to change!

Took Hogzilla out there today & did a test run.  Ground is hard!  Not likely I'll be pulling the "twin 10's" this time.  Some may have to run shallower, or not cut a full width.  But if we get a rain, it will help a lot.  I did 3 passes and trash was an issue twice.  Last year I had more time between mowing the fields & plow day, so the trash had more time to rot than this time, but hoping it won't be too much a problem.  Next year I may have to push the date later.  It's pushed me pretty hard this year to get things ready.

I got my Southern States Coop to donate some door prizes.  A straw hat, pocket knife, ball cap, and 3 bags of assorted garden seeds.  I will have some "Milk" T-shirts also.  I had wanted to get 2 or 3 plaques for this year, but I haven't had time to get that done, so maybe next year.  I'd also like to have some plow day T-shirts made up for next year.

  But we will have chili!

Friday forecast is 81degrees with 30% chance of showers.  Saturday morning at 54 degrees, high of 78, mostly sunny and just 10% chance of rain.  Looking good at this point.

How many tractors, Daniel?

I will have Hogzilla there, the Bush Hog JBI with the TJD, both with plows.  I am also bringing the Allis 620 with my Massey tiller mounted.  Then the Unico 15 will be there awaiting it's new owner, as well as the Jacobsen 1000 Chief awaiting it's new owner!

Well, I have been hesitant to post up, but it now looks like we won't have physical inventory at work next weekend. I am an 85% chance on the trip. Will bring one of my Powerkings and 3 pt plow for sure. Will have a second 3 PTH plow that needs a workout if anyone is interested. Not sure if I will bring my 982 or one of my other working toys. My daughter want to bring the Panzer to cruise around on.

I am still on track to be there with Kenny and Dad. We will have plenty of GT's with us for anyone who wants to come without a GT.

I will be bringing my 10" Sleeve plow and hitch in case it's too hard for me to pull the 12", as I plan to get some seat time. I have the 75# wheel weights, but haven't loaded the tires as yet. We'll see how it goes! If I can pull the 12", my 10" plow will be available for someone to use. I did a little 'horse trading' with jpcubs & he now owns the Sears 3-pt 8" plow. If he hasn't picked it up and doesn't mind, I could bring it (& if there is room).

I'm taking more out to Dad's today and getting my plow properly set on Hogzilla.  It will be a truer test of how hard the ground pulls.  My sway chain wasn't on my lift arm, so my plow wasn't tracking right.  I know it'll still be hard plowing, but yesterday was way too hard.

olcowhand, I may need some assistance on my set up. I'm a city boy and I have only plowed about four times with my PK. I don't think I have it set up right.

I'm loaded and ready. :dancingbanana: :firejumper:

I needed to make sure I could get everything on, most of the stuff in the box of the truck is not mine.
