Can I Remove A Hydro Rearend And Replace With A Transaxle?

We used to run 5 cubs in stock classes, don't have any now. My son got real good at replacing the trans could have one out and back in in 30 minutes at the pull.

 

Gotta agree with ya OkieGT cubs can mow the lawn (usually with out breaking their rears) LOL

How heavy is your sled??? And what kept breaking? Ive never had any problem with cub rearends especially in stock for. The fine spline rears hold up but better but I have a coarse splined and its still holding up in the 875 and 975 adult class.

Sled is 7000lbs transfer sled A 8hp can haul it 150ft  and start it without spinning a tire

Weight classes are 900 for 8hp 1050 and 1100 for 10,12,18 and sport stock, NQS weights for altered and 50 cube, 1450 modified, 1600 for super mod and 1800lb for V8 All stock classes on cut 26 inch tires and pro tires for the rest 31 inch for super and V8 mod

 All classes run a 200ft track with the higher classes allowed upto 400ft where theres room

That's the way it always seems to workout, huh. lol looks like a friend bought it. he isnt a collector, he repairs them spray bombs em and tries to sell them for 2 grand, lol I dont know how much he actually makes or gets, but he had to build a shed for the dead dogs that didn't sell because he wasn't informed enough to walk away from  tractors that were DOA

Our adult class is 12hp 875 and 975.Our hot stocks are 14hp 950 and 1000Lbs which run on 23x10.50x12 tires. 16hp is 1000lbs-1100lbs 26x12x12 tires. 20hp flathead 1000-1100lbs class. 20hp ohv.1100-1200lbs. 26hp 1100lbs-1200lbs diesel. 1000lbs-1050 NQS hot stock. Our length for a full pull in the stock classes are 170ft. Hot stocks and diesels have a floating finish which were right around 220ft
