Got a minute to grab pics last nite. The first three are of the runner with the changed air cleaner. The next 4 are the unaltered parts unit.

When you say "unaltered", do mean that it hasn't been near your toolbox?

Lol thanks mf1 for the pics. I kinda get where things are supposed to go, but like someone said, I'll potion just fab up some simple brackets and putz around that way

What I see in this pic, out of the service manual, is that

the Gov linkage goes behind the lever that throttle cable

hooks to. The spring and linkage look like they're in the same hole

at the throttle shaft. Also looks like the gov link is in the inner hole (of 3)

on the governor arm.

 

Am I seeing that right?

I'm at that point of reassembly today. We'll see if it works.
