There is some Updated improved version you can go to now I guess. I always pick the original if it asks. They dropped the For Sale and couple other items off the lists. Basically they are now Outdated and need new program like these sites to search and store more and pictures to be posted. I'm on several tractor ones, but there IS a lot of garbage groups on there in my opinion also. Many are started, never moderated and fill up with spam right away. One has to want to moderate constantly to have a good one. Also some are on limited use and you never get responses to your postings.  FREE isn't always the best deal, I think.

Is there a way to go back to the original

I was on the Bolens group that was started in 1999 the other night looking for Ridemaster stuff. The next day I went to look at my saved links and I get the new site. :(

I wish I could change my settings back to the original "Yahoo Clubs".

Every time Yahoo "improves" something it only gets worse.

GTTalk is SOOOOO much better!

Seams your in the same boat as me and many others picked at random for case study of NEO Yahoo product experiment. If your like me your error locked out of groups and can't even view the new version. You can't opt out but you can rejoin group under different name if they will let you until Yahoo gets this mess straightened out.

Until now, we don't have such probs w/ the european groups. The only "advance" of groups is, they're free and, as the founder, you have no more work w/ them.

Edit: But, remember the good old Yahoo Club and early Groupc times. You had a counter and knew, who had visited. And the applications where more and better...

And, you can't compare a forum like GTT w/ a Y!Group - you can't compare apples and pebbles
