My S14D came back as a Jan 1969 manufacture. I read that Bolens usually used an engine which was one year older than the tractor. I really appreciate all the information you guys post on this site. I was just given a Bolens 1250 and I had never even heard of them before. I'm in the middle of refurbishing a 1947 Ford 8N and when it's done I'll start on the Bolens. The great thing is that it runs and it's all there including the mowerdeck. Some of the control cables are frozen but that's an easy fix.

I think you'll find that they all show a January production. wisconsin didn't keep monthly records just an annual list so it could have been built anytime in 69.

The engines before I think it is 1951 brake it down by month.

The early ones are all by year. It seems I've seen a month chart for some of the later ones but anything I've ever checked through the website all show January.

I have a by month chat for early Wisconsin.   All the Ridemaster engine I date and are before 1951 are broke down by month.  The site does it to.

I gave you a Ridemaster list last year at portland did I not?  It should show on that....

Tried to access the web site to check a Wisconsin number on one of my engines and I'm getting an error page only, I don't know what is going on with the site.

I get the same error by just trying wiengines.com. Wonder if the site has gone away?

I just checked the site on Friday and it was working, so I wanted to check a TRA-10D that someone had put in a G14 that I just picked up and got an error message on Saturday. :(

Every once in a while the site goes down for a while then comes back up, maybe they are doing updates.

The web page is is owned and operated by wisconsin motors themselves

I just checked again today and the site was back up and running. I was able to check my TRA-10D and it is front a 1970 bolens tractor.
