  Finished up this project today. My 1971 Cub Cadet 149 with a Johnson model 14 loader. I started on it back in July. I had to put a new cam in the 14 horse Kohler, because the ACR was not working correctly. It starts right up great now though. The hardest part was plumbing all the lines up for the loader. The pump runs off the PTO clutch so it can be turned on and off.Thought you guys would like to see some pics. of it, so here they are.

Nice job!  Out of curiousity though, why did you choose quick couplers on the valve hoses instead of swivel fittings?  Other implements to use witht he hydraulics with the loader off?

Yep. With it off, I can plow or use any other 3 point attachment. Also the 2 hydraulic hoses not hooked to anything control the tractor 3 point. I interchange them with the bucket tilt controls.
